Vaishnavi Ravinutala (Vocal)

Vaishnavi Ravinutala has been training in vocal music for over 15 years. At present, she is under the tutelage of Vid. Aishwarya Vidhya Raghunath. She previously received guidance from Lalitha Bhaskara of the Hyderabad sisters. She has performed in various sabhas across the US and in India.


Apurvaa Anand (Violin)

Apurvaa Anand is a vocal and violin student of Vidushi Smt.Anuradha Sridhar, Founder and Director of Trinity Center for Music. She is the great granddaughter of Sangitha Kalanidhi T.K. Jayarama Iyer. Apurvaa has won several prizes in competitions including Cleveland Tyagaraja Aradhana and Papanasam Sivan festival. She has performed solos, duets and accompanied artists across Unites States and India. Apurvaa is a trained western violinist and was the concert master for her high school orchestra and in her University orchestra. Apurvaa is a recent graduate from the University of Pittsburgh where she received dual degrees in Neuroscience and Information Science.


Sanjay Subramanian (Mridangam)

Sanjay Subramanian is a disciple of mridangam Vidvan Guruvayur Sri Dorai. Previously, he learned from Sri Krishna Balakrishna and Sri Vinod Gopinath. Sanjay has performed in many venues in Chennai and across the U.S. since 2010. Sanjay is currently a PhD student in computer science at UC Berkeley.

Nirupama Shivakumar (Vocal)

Nirpupama Shivakumar  is a senior at Leland high school. She has been learning music at Paduka Academy from Sri Hari Devanath and Sri Vivek Sundararaman  since she was 6 years old. She participates regularly in group performances. Apart from music, she is keenly interested in sports and has been active in rowing since middle school. She is also a staff writer for Leland journalism.


Avanija Vangala (Violin)

Avanija is a 10th grader at Stratford Preparatory School. She has been learning Carnatic Violin from Kalaimamani Padma Shankar (Student of Sri Lalgudi Jayaraman). She has won prizes in multiple competitions and regularly performs solos and accompaniment concerts around the Bay Area. She regularly supports many Bay Area schools on violin.


Prayag Barath (Mridangam)

Prayag  is a sophomore at St Francis high school. He has been learning mridangam for the past 7 years from Vidwan Sri Chennai Thyagarajan. He has been accompanying on various platforms in the Bay Area like LOTUS, CCC, SRFA, and margazhi festivals. Prayag has also been learning Carnatic vocal music from Sri Hari Devanath for the past 9 years. Prayag is part of his high school tennis varsity team and also loves to volunteer for social causes.
