Sanchitha Kannabran

Sanchitha has been learning under the tutelage of Guru. Smt. Kasthuri Shivakumar. She is a Junior at San Mateo High School. She has participated in bay area Music competitions such as Papanasam Sivan, OSAAT, Maithry and Saptami and won many prizes.

She is learning ping pong and participated in many tournaments. She also tutors young children and teaches Tamil at the Peninsula Tamil School. She likes to paint , bake and read books during her free time.

Smriti Swaminathan

Smriti is an 8th grader in Windemere Ranch Middle School. She is currently learning vocal from Smt. Kasthuri Shivakumar. Smriti also learns veena from Sri. Srikanth Chary.

She has participated and won prizes at competitions such as Annamayya Jayanthi Utsav, Papanasam Sivan Competitions, and was a finalist in SaMaa Arts’ online competition 2020. She has also performed at many fundraisers and other bay area events/concerts.

Smriti also plays the flute for her school’s wind ensemble. Her other interests include cooking, biking, and playing with her younger brother.
