Sri Haasini (Vocal)
Sri Haasini is currently a Senior at Evergreen Valley High School, San Jose. Sri Haasini is a student of Sri Paduka Academy under the tutelage of Guru Shri Hari Devanath. Sri Haasini has performed in various bay area events and won prizes. She learns Veena from Smt. Anuradha Sunder. Sri Haasini loves Volunteering at the wildlife center and taking care of animals. In her free time she likes to paint,bake and listen to music.
Vishaka Ashok (Violin)
Vishaka is a junior at Evergreen Valley High School, and is a student of Smt. Lalgudi Vijayalakshmi. She has been learning violin since the age of 4, in addition to her vocal training under Smt. Vasudha Ravi for over 12 years. Vishaka has participated and performed at countless organizations across the Bay Area as an accompanying violinist and singer. She is also an avid reader and enjoys painting in her free time.
Ambika Ramadurai (Mridangam):
Ambika is an incoming first-year at Santa Clara University, is a student of Vaadhya Vidhyaalayam, under the tutelage of Guru Sri. Srinath Bala for the past 6+ years.As an accompanying percussionist, Ambika has performed at several local venues and online events and enjoys the collaborative and improvisation aspects of the art form.She was the recipient of the Alliance of California Traditional Arts (ACTA) scholarship for 2021.Ambika has also trained in vocal music at Sri Paduka Academy. Her other interests include advocating for social justice and developing vegan recipes!
Urmika Balaji (Vocal)
Urmika is a rising freshman at UC Davis pursuing neurobiology. She is a student of Sri K. Chandrasekharan and previously trained under Sri Hari Devanath of Sri Paduka Academy. She also learns violin from Padmasri A. Kanyakumari, and is a regular accompanist for senior musicians and students in the Bay Area . Urmika is also trained in western violin and was a principal second violinist at her school and local orchestra.
Rathika Balaji (Vocal)
Rathika is a rising freshman at Homestead High School. She has been learning vocal music since the age 7 from Sri K Chandrasekharan. She also learns violin from Padmasri A. Kanyakumari and enjoys providing accompaniment for the Bay area music community.
Aishwarya Anand (Violin)
Aishwarya Anand is a vocal and violin student of Vidushi Anuradha Sridhar, Founder and Director of Trinity Center for Music. She is the great granddaughter of Sangitha Kalanidhi T.K. Jayarama Iyer. Aishwarya has won several prizes in competitions including Cleveland Tyagaraja Aradhana and Papanasam Sivan festival. She has performed solos, duets and accompanied artists across Unites States and India. Aishwarya is a trained western violinist and was the concert master for her high school orchestra and in her University orchestra. Aishwarya is a raising sophomore at the Purdue University majoring in CSE.
Lalit Kovuri (Mridangam)
Lalit Narayan Kovvuri is a rising freshman at Archbishop Mitty High School. He is currently under the tutelage of Vidwan Sri. S. V. Ramani from Chennai. Over the past few years, he has performed in various sabhas in Chennai during Margazi season and in Bay Area as well. He has also won several awards in various mridangam competitions including Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana. Apart from mridangam, Lalit is also pursuing Carnatic vocal and violin under the tutelage of Vidushi Smt. Anuradha Sridhar. Lalit performed his mridangam arangetram in the summer of 2019. Along with Music, Lalit is also a proud recipient of US Presidential Volunteer award (Gold) for his work to the society through his music.
