Vocal - Ranjani Ravindrabharathy
Ranjani, a 12 year old, hails from the well-known Embar family, known for its involvement in Music and Spirituality. She has been very fortunate to come under the tutelage of Guru Smt.Jayashree Varadarajan for the past 5 years, who has been a great source of knowledge and guidance in Ranjani's musical journey. Ranjani is a sincere, hard- working student with tremendous passion and love for singing.
As a student of Sri Rama Lalitha Kala Mandir, she has been part of school performances in various places on cultural and festival occasions such as Siva Murugan Temple, Concord, Shiva Vishnu temple, Livermore, Badarikasrama, San Leandro, to name a few. Ranjani has also performed with her school’s annual events etc. Ranjani has also participated in OSAAT competitions and has won prizes. Ranjani gave her first solo concert at Nandalala Mission in summer of 2012. As part of PTA Reflections program, Ranjani has been winning prizes year after year for her musical compositions. Last year, her musical compositions won prize in the State level and was recommended to the Nationals.
In addition to her main passion, vocal music, she is also learning Violin under Dr.Susheel Narasimhan . Ranjani is an avid reader and loves detective novels. She is a 6th grader at Lawson middle school.
Divya Mohan (violin):
Divya has been learning violin since age 6 and has been under the tutelage of Dr Saravanapriyan Sriraman, a disciple of Lalgudi Sri GJR Krishnan, since 2005. She has performed widely in the bay area giving violin solo concerts and has accompanied many upcoming and mature artists in live concerts and TV recordings. Divya learns vocal music as well and did her music arangetram during Summer 2011 in Chennai under the able guidance of her Guru Sri Neyveli Santhanagopalan. She has participated and won recognition and prizes in many competitions including the Cleveland Aradhana, in both vocal and violin categories. Divya will be a Junior at Mission SanJose High School, Fremont, in the Fall.
Gopal Ravindhran (Mridangam)
Gopal Ravindhran has been under the tutelage of Sri Ravindra Bharathy Sridharan for the past 9 years. In addition, he has attended special sessions with Sri Neyveli Narayanan. Gopal has been a sought after accompanist for various musical schools in Bay Area and has been performing regularly in Chennai for the past couple of years. He has also been a active performer in his Guru, Ravi's school, Nadhopasana Academy of Fine Arts. He has won several prizes in competitions conducted in the bay area, Chicago and Cleveland. In 2009 he had his Mrudangam Arangetram , accompanying Vidwan Sri Delhi Sunderajan on Vocal , Vidwan Sri Vittal Ramamurthy on the violin, and Vidwan Sri A.MahaDevan on the Morsing. Gopal is a Junior at Irvington High in Fremont .

Vocal - Anamika Kannan
Anamika has been learning Carnatic vocal music under the tutelage of Smt. Jayashree Varadarajan founder/ director of Sri Rama Lalitha Kala Mandir School of Fine Arts for the past 5 years. Anamika’s discipline and passion for learning have given her the opportunity to attend summer enrichment programs for the past four years to expose herself to many beautiful and unique compositions of various composers. This has enabled her to appreciate and pursue the art of singing with earnestness and enthusiasm.
As a student of Sri Rama Lalitha Kala Mandir, in addition to participating and performing in her school’s productions, she has also been a part of school performances in various venues on cultural and festival occasions such as the Siva Murugan Temple, Concord, Shiva Vishnu temple, Livermore, Badarikasrama, San Leandro, to name a few. Anamika has also participated in OSAAT competitions and has won prizes
In addition to vocal music, Anamika has been learning piano under Ms.Yi Wang and obtaining training in Bharatanatyam from Smt. Sundara Swaminathan, over the past several years. Anamika is a 7th grader at Cupertino middle school, where she is a member of the A-band in the brass section, playing the baritone horn.
