LOTUS Silicon Valley is a non-profit organization of volunteers dedicated to showcasing local talented artistes in Northern California in Indian Classical Music. Ever since it's inception in 2000, LOTUS has promoted and encouraged numerous talented local artists.

At LOTUS Silicon Valley, our mission is to make Indian classical music accessible to all. LOTUS offers a monthly concert series, multiple-thematic programs, and an annual Tyagaraja Aradhana. As part of our monthly concert series, we offer junior, intermediate, and senior slots for artists to perform. This progression path gives the artists an opportunity to build confidence as they grow as performing artists, present content of increasing complexity, and grow in their musical acumen. This progression path also helps artists grow in other skills, including confidence, stage presence, and critical thinking.  For artists, we provide a platform to promote themselves and host an extensive artists page. This has also been a very helpful resource for the artists, who do not have the resources to promote themselves to leverage LOTUS’s website and mailing list of over 1200 people and deepen their outreach to the community. Our members are part of the affluent community of engineers, doctors, entrepreneurs in small and big businesses. LOTUS actively seeks sponsors to promote their services and products to LOTUS community.

LOTUS is a purely volunteer run organization primarily funded by donations from patrons and performers.

We are available to work with our sponsors like you to maximize the impact to both of us. We would like to invite our sponsors to take part in LOTUS’s non-profit activities.

Here are ways of promoting and marketing with LOTUS:

1. Event participation and sponsoring -- You could sponsor the cost (or part of the cost) of the event; you could display your banner in the lobby or inside the event hall; you could hand out discount/special coupons or souvenirs at the event. You could have a booth to sell your items as well.

2. Web-ads on LOTUS website -- you could place ads on our website -- your logo can be placed on our website with links to your home page or specials page. This would give you 24/7 coverage as we have a constant stream of concerts every month.

3. Ad in mass-email to LOTUS community -- We send periodic (about 2-3 email blasts per month) with updates on our monthly concerts. We have an option to include your ad in there.
